Konyaalti Beach

Konyaalti Beach
Konyaalti Coast
Together with Lara Beach, it is one of the two important beaches of Antalya. It is located on the Mediterranean coast of Konyaalti district, west of the city center.
Konyaalti beach is the 7 km long beach extending from the Konyaalti Variant, where the cliffs recede, to the port of Antalya in the southwest of the Antalya Travertine Plateau, the largest freshwater travertine in the world[1]. The part of this pebbly beach with a length of 4.5 km and a width of 70 m is a public beach with a blue flag.
Olbia, the port city used by the Termessosians who lived in the mountainous area in ancient times, is located on this beach. The ruins of the historical city of Olbia are scattered from Bull Creek to Arapsuyu
It is believed that the beach is called bay-altı because it remains on the lower side of the cliffs on the coast of Antalya and turns into konya gold over time. A second claim is that during the Ottoman periods, when Antalya was connected to Konya, the military gathering area was called Konyüstültü. The name Konyaalti has started to be used by the people on the lower side of this area
From the coast, Insuyu or Arapsuyu-I, Arapsuyu-II, Bull Creek and Sarisu are poured into the Mediterranean from north to south.

Sarisu Women's Beach
Sarısu Women's Beach, located in the Liman district of Konyaalti Dec, is among the famous beaches of the region. Access to the beach can be easily made on foot.
About 300 sun beds are available for visitors at Sarısu Women's Beach, which has a beach with an average length of 1000 meters. There are facilities that can be used for necessities such as shower, dressing cabin and toilet in the vicinity of the beach, and many facilities also serve for food and beverage needs. The beach, where women usually work in the facilities inside the beach, also gets its name from here. Entrance to Sarısu Women's Beach is free of charge.

Topçam Beach
Topçam Beach, which is one of the popular beaches of Konyaalti, serves in the Port Declivity. Access to the beach can be made on foot.
The width of the beach, which has an average length of 650 meters, is at ideal levels. A small part of the beach, where the beach consists of sandy areas, is covered with pebbles.
The most important feature of the beach is the Rat Island, which is located directly opposite. The cliffs located at the ends of the beach, which have a unique view, also help to bring the region to the forefront. Since there are no facilities serving around the beach, which is located in a pristine condition, it is recommended that you be prepared before going here. Nature pine trees with wraparound topçam atmosphere, especially on the weekends for activities such as picnicking and camping are preferred by local people.

Büyük Çaltıcak Beach
Büyük Çaltı Decak Beach, located among the virgin beaches of Konyaalti, is one of the calm beaches of the region. Access to the beach can be made on foot or by private car.
Located in a location intertwined with nature, the beach is especially preferred by those who like to camp. There are no facilities serving around the beach, which also hosts picnic activities on weekends.Due to the above average depth of the sea, most of the beach, which will not be suitable for those who do not know how to swim well, is covered with sand, while some of it is filled with pebbles.

Küçük Çaltıcak Beach
Located quite close to Büyük Çaltıcak Beach, Küyük Çaltıcak Beach is located in the Liman Quarter. Transportation to the beach can be made by private car.
Küçük Çaltıcak Beach, which has an atmosphere intertwined with nature, has a different feeling than other beaches due to the fact that it is covered with Red Pine trees around it. due to the presence of cliffs around the beach, which has a 300-meter coastline, the depth of the sea changes instantly. For this reason, the sea of the beach, which is not suitable for those who do not know how to swim, has a clear and wave-free structure. The beach, where there are no facilities around, is especially preferred for activities such as camping and picnics.
Entrance to Küçük Çaltıcak Beach is free of charge.

Konyaalti Beaches
Since Konyaalti offers more limited opportunities in terms of beaches than other popular holiday centers in the vicinity, the number of beaches in the region is also limited.
