15 Things You Should Know Before Renting a Car at Antalya Airport
Antalya Airport is one of Turkey's busiest airports, welcoming millions of tourists every year. Car rental is the most flexible transportation option in Antalya. To choose the right vehicle, avoid extra fees, and enjoy a smooth experience, it's important to know RepeatCar's rental conditions in advance.
01Make Your Reservation in Advance
Demand for rental cars in Antalya is very high in summer. Early booking gives you more vehicle choices and better prices. You can easily reserve via the RepeatCar website or mobile app.

02Use the Free Airport Shuttle
RepeatCar's office is in the Aksu district, close to Antalya Airport. A free shuttle service transfers you from the airport to our office. Just share your flight details when booking.
✈️ How it works: After landing, our team meets you at the airport and brings you to our office. Your vehicle will be ready for handover.
03Prepare Your Documents in Advance
Missing documents can cancel your rental at handover. Make sure you have the following:
- ✓Turkish citizens: Chip ID card + driving licence + credit card
- ✓Foreign nationals: Passport (entry stamp no older than 6 months) + licence + credit card
- ✓Licence must be in Latin script and internationally valid
- ✓Credit card must be enabled for online purchases (3D Secure)

05Know About the Findeks Credit Check
For Turkish citizens, a Findeks credit score check is carried out at the time of rental. If your score is insufficient or you don't allow the query, the vehicle cannot be handed over and the fee may not be refunded.

06Understand Deposit and Payment Conditions
A credit card registered in the driver's name and enabled for online purchases is mandatory. The deposit is held as a pre-authorisation and released after return if there is no damage, missing fuel, or penalty.
💳 Deposit: Deposit amounts vary by vehicle class. With the Premium+ coverage package, deposit-free rental is available.

08Plan Your Mileage Package
RepeatCar rentals include a mileage limit. You can purchase an additional mileage package at the time of booking or at the start of rental. If you're planning longer routes, arrange this in advance.
⚠️ Note: Exceeding the mileage limit results in an excess km charge as stated in your contract. Share your plans with our branch beforehand.
09Understand the Fuel Policy
RepeatCar's fuel policy: return at the same level as received. Check the fuel gauge at handover and return it at the same level. Returning with less fuel results in a fuel charge plus a service fee.
⛽ Tip: There are petrol stations very close to our office. You can fill up easily before returning the car.
10Take Photos When You Pick Up the Car
Before driving away, photograph all existing damage: front, rear, both sides, roof, boot, tyres and rims. These images protect you against unjustified damage claims at return.
📸 Tip: Make sure photos have a visible date and time stamp. All pre-existing damage should also be on the handover form.

11Declare Additional Drivers in Advance
For long trips, sharing the driving reduces fatigue. A maximum of 2 additional drivers can be added. Ensure the additional driver meets the required age and licence year criteria.
⚠️ Important: Anyone not named in the contract driving the vehicle will void all insurance coverage.
12Request a Child Seat in Advance
Under Turkish law, an approved child seat is mandatory for children under 135 cm. RepeatCar offers baby seats, child seats, and booster seats. Request yours when booking.
⚠️ Legal Requirement: Travelling without a child seat can result in a traffic fine.
13Know the Working Hours and Out-of-Hours Fee
Vehicle handovers or returns outside RepeatCar branch working hours incur an out-of-hours service fee. Notify us in advance if you have a late-night or early-morning arrival.
ℹ️ Note: Contact our branch in advance for out-of-hours arrangements. Unplanned late returns may result in an extra day charge.
14Be Aware of Traffic Fines and Toll Charges
Any traffic fines, motorway/bridge tolls and parking charges incurred during the rental are the responsibility of the renter, plus an additional service fee.
💡 Tip: Avoid toll roads if you do not have an HGS/OGS tag. Following traffic rules prevents unexpected extra costs.
